Bobby J. Kitchen Jr. | President
Bobby started in the industry in 1983 at Safeco Insurance and his career advanced quickly from there. Between 1983 & 1998, Bobby held multiple managerial positions which ultimately led to his final position as the President of Safeco Select. In 1999, Bobby returned to the south and accepted an offer with Georgia Casualty to lead the insurance company as its President.
Under Bobby’s leadership, the company saw an increase in premium by 20% year over year due to the implementation of a growth and profitability strategy that expanded operations into thirteen southeastern states. After having done all that could be done on the carrier side of the industry, Bobby decided it was time to use his background to benefit the client. In June 2005, he and Steve Molina launched a new career on the retail side of insurance, which led to the formation of Risk & Insurance Consultants, Inc. In this arena, Bobby uses his 35+ years of knowledge and experience for the benefit of our clients.
