Dana Dorris has served clients in the insurance industry since 2004. After many years as an agency owner and corporate executive, she came to Risk & Insurance in 2020 with extensive knowledge and training in the insurance industry. Dana is focusing on personal lines and small business insurance for the North Georgia area. She enjoys getting to know her clients, understanding their needs, and finding the insurance plan that best protects their assets. Dana follows the motto of “preparing today while protecting for tomorrow”. In her spare time, you can find her spending time with her husband Jeff, their children and their cute little “chiweenie” Tinker Bell. Dana has recently started working on her backyard garden and had her first harvest of squash & zucchini, YUM!

You may remember Collin from his days as a Punter for the University of Georgia, where he graduated with a degree in communications. He accredits his drive to succeed and strong work ethic to the years of training he received to be the best on the field. Collin’s new goal is to help his clients understand Insurance & how it works so they can make an educated decision when choosing a policy for themselves. Collin joined our Risk & Insurance Consultants team in January of 2020, and he’s been known to change a tire or two when a client is stuck on the side of the road in the time since he’s been here. Collin loves to be with wife and three kids outside of work enjoying every moment God gives them.

ACCOUNT MANAGER | EMERGING MARKETS & PERSONAL LINES

Laurie obtained an AAS degree from the North Country Community College, and during her last semester she got an opportunity for an externship with an agency in a Northern New York town. After the externship, she was hired on full time and went on to obtain her Property & Casualty and Life & Health licenses. Laurie remained in New York until May of 2021 when she and her family decided to relocate to Atlanta. Not long after that, Laurie joined the Risk & Insurance Consultants team and she was ultimately promoted to Account Manager in the North Georgia office in April of 2022. Laurie is a die-hard crafter, so you can find her sewing, cardmaking, knitting and crocheting in her down time. She and her family are enjoying attending the local festivals in Atlanta and surrounding areas.
